When I first eliminated wheat, it was as if I was walking in complete darkness with no hand to hold. It was hard as I had intense carbohydrate cravings, withdrawals from my ‘modern wheat’ addiction, social burden with people constantly asking why I was changing, feeling hungry because I had no idea what to eat and what to replace my wrap or pizza base with.
