Brisbane What’s With Wheat? Screening

Why, after millions of years of eating wheat, are we now seeing a growing epidemic of wheat and gluten intolerance? With gluten now linked to everything from chronic fatigue to autoimmune and neurological diseases, this Australian documentary unpacks the history of wheat and our relationship to it, which has ranged over time from reverence to addiction.

Experts from across the globe, including Dr Perlmutter, Sarah Ballantyne, Dr Terry Wahls, Dr Natasha Campbell-McBride, Pete Evans and many others weigh in on this subject and look at how the story of wheat really is the story of food.

Includes Q&A session with:

  • Cyndi O’Meara, creator of ‘What’s With Wheat?’ documentary and founder of Changing Habits
  • Dr Rodney Ford, MD, MB DS, FRACP, Associate Professor – over 30 years experience as a paediatric gastroenterologist, nutrition consultant and allergist, managing children and adults with food allergies and food intolerances
